How do you get your eyeliner to stay???

well when i put my eyeliner on it kinds i guess u can say smears down kindof when i dont touch it then i have to wipe under my eye with my finger (my skin is kind of oily if anyone has tips to help that to) is there anyway to keep my eyeliner in place for the day instead of one hour???

use a waterproof eyeliner %26amp;%26amp;%26amp; dont use teh ones from the drugstore or at least the cheap they will all do that.





the BEST is liquid because it dries and stay in place %26amp; doesnt smear at all but that only for the top lid. dont use liquid if you wear eyeliner on the bottom





MAC has a stick that you put on your eyes ect when you want makeup to stick and not smear or rub off but im sure there are others you can buy and use

wellyou could switch brand but i use revlon colorstay twist up liner %26amp; i love it . it stays on all day so i dont want to worry about it running or re applying . %26amp; what i do is take my finger %26amp; get some pressed powder on it %26amp; put some under my eye.. if u get what i mean not where i put the liner under it..
This happens to everyone who wears eyeliner. Unless you wear liquid eyeliner, I'm afraid this will constantly happen.


Avon has some amazing eyeliner while doesn't smear as bad as others. Shop around a little and experiment with some other brands of eyeliners until you find one that doesn' smear as much as the one you are using right now.
Try a waterproof eyeliner... BedHead makes an awesome liquid eyeliner in really bold colors that stays really well. There's also sprays that you can buy to ';set'; your makeup after you put it on. Chances are, you're just gonna have to spend a little more money on a better quality makeup that won't bleed or smudge.
do you use liquid eyeliner ? because my skin is kind of oily too . %26amp; then i started using prestige cosmetics liquid liner %26amp; it stays on really well for me .. even when im working out %26amp; dripping with sweat :P %26amp; it only costs about 5 bucks . so its not that expensive at all .
Two things for you to try. First, put a little foundation on your eyelids and blend it before you put on your eye make-up. That is a good way to make it stay on.


Second you could try gel eyeliner by the company MAC. They sell it at Macy's and it is wonderful! It stays on all day.

and try the clean and clear oil wipe things. they are like magic!!!


and they will help with your ioly skin.


also, try to use face cleaners that don't have oil in the ingredients.


like clearasil stayclear oil-free gell wash.

Use a waterproof pencil or liquid.


To set my eyeliner I take a small angled brush and line my eyes again with black eyeshadow, this sets it.


Foundation and concealer can double as an eye base.


You can also use an eye primer such as UDPP or MACs Paint Pots.
for oily skin you get blotting sheets from elf 50 for $1


and to keep your eyeliner on use good eyeliners like revlon colorstay or almay retractable and to set it use an eyeshadow and go over the eyeliner

I use as little as possible and still have to clean off the bottom smudge that gets in the crease. I don't bother with liner on the bottom in the summer and use clinique liner. I think we're stuck with the problem.
I am a HUGE believer of Maybelline Unstoppable.


I've been using it years, and have no smudge issues.


Put it on at 7 yesterday, went to work, went running, and went swimming, and it looked fresh when I was done.
ok this is what i do i take a match and burn the head of my eye liner (only pencil eyeliner) then let it kool and aply and honestly it stayes about 6 hours more then the usual ..
Use a concealer or 'stay matte' powder around and under your eyes. This will help it stay put and prevent it from sliding around your eyes as badly. I do it and it seems to help.
i put lotion under my eyes or vasaline. but make sure that you obiously rub it in good and use too much. it works for me, and yehh it help takes it off too lol. good luck!!
you can use a base that is called an eye canvas, it prevents your skin from getting oily, then on top of the liner dab a little powder
well you could use Sea Breeze astringent, that helps your skin to be less oily, which helps the eyeliner to stay. (dont apply around eye area.) you should just buy some really good eyeliner.

otherwise I use HIP by L'oreal and I LOVE it. It's twelve dollars for the cream eyeliner but totally worth it, it's smooth and stays all day

then just put good eyeliner one
