the first two are waterproof. the mac isn't, but lasts almost just as long.
a cheap alternative is revlon's colorstay.
if you want seriously long-lasting color, use a gel liner and sharply angled eyeliner brush. good ones are smashbox smudgepot, smashbox jetset, mac fluidline. a cheap version is jane's be pure mineral gel liner which works reallllly well.What is a good brand of eyeliner?
I apply Avon's glimmer stick once a day and it lasts til I hit it with make up remover at night (and with how liberally I apply it, there is usually still some residual eyeliner on after I wash my face). They are reasonably priced cosmetics and orders for them go in every 2 weeks, so you can order something and get it pretty quickly as well.

cos there is nothing worser getting home and your eyeliner turns out crap...the thing is really unless you apply eyeliner to the outside of your eyes. the eyeliner will rub of cos its basicly in your eye so you will need to keep applying it.unless you apply it outside your eyes :)

i use both their regular pencil and liquid eyeliners, and believe me i wear a LOT of it.
and it works really well and mine usually stays on all day without smudging
elizabeth arden pencil goes on and stays on nicely, but the GEL type of elizabeth Arden or MAC REALLY works nicely. easy to put on - easier than pencil and stays all day.!
MAC is the best
it doesnt smug or anything
and the colors it has are amazing
