How do you stop your eyeliner from smudging?

Make-up can smudge for a variety or reasons.


A main reason for make-up runnig or smudging is from excess oils on your face which can be combatted by toning and properly moisturising, but be very careful around your eye area.


Also, some eyeliners are prone to smudging, so go into your local store and try some on the back of your hand and test them out.


Also, as many people have already said, water-proof eye liner is a good option, because laughing lots or crying will indefinately make your eyeliner run.


Lancome and Clarins both do excellent waterproof eye liners in liquid and as well as pencil form, and are not too expensive.How do you stop your eyeliner from smudging?
I thinbk you should buy the most expensive one you can afford. You really do get what you pay for when it comes to make up!!How do you stop your eyeliner from smudging?
1. waterproof eyeliner.


2. smudge-proof eyeliner.


3. dont buy cheap eyeliner.


4. dont wear eyeliner at all.
just dont apply so much n just check you make-up every so often i use eyeliner n it never smuges my be the kind you may be using is sumgeable you should go to a cosmetic store and aske them what they recomened for you to use i personaly like mac's make-up never smuges
try using a liquid eyeliner first ,


then use a khol pencil.
My eyeliner always smudges and itdrives me nuts, theres two things i do, firstg et another waterproof eyeliner, waterproof sticks more together for better results, second i put mascara over it, because mascara drys quickly and make sure you dont stick it in your eye though,that hurts =[
You must be sure it is has long lasting or waterproof on the makeup. I use Revlon long lasting eyeliner.
buy liquid eyeliner once it is dry it stays. (the only problem is that i find it hard to apply straight) or try smudge proof eyeliner.





if you find that your eyeliner is still smudging you can always make it look like you were going for the smokey look by using the end of and eye pencil to smudge it.
use a good eyeliner to start with
buy a waterproof eyeliner they have made everything else waterproof and long lasting surely there must b a waterproof one, either that or just dont wear it app women r more attractive without it so ive been told and it dosent make you look like you have a black eye good luck hope this helps

a good eyeliner to use is urban decay's 24/7 eyepencil, its creamy and glides on really easy but the great thing is that is waterproof so it stays on really well. best ive ever used.
If you have oily skin, like me, eyeliner just smudges in general. But if you take wipes and the eyeliner with you, you can always check it and reapply it.
Use a little bit of foundation or normal talc powder before your wear it.
My advice is try not to rub itor it smudges it. Sometimes when my eyes are itchy you can't resist so try using a liquid eyeliner. It works for me!
If its Pencil then i don't think there is a particular to stop it smudging. But if its Liquid then as long as you leave it to dry it shouldn't smudge at all. If it still does then try a really good Waterproof eyeliner.

It usually smudges when your tired and yawn, it makes your eyes water. So you could just get waterproof liner. be careful though, sometimes it's hard to get off, you may need to also get remover.
